What differentiates Field Nation from other similar products?
I think what differentiates the Field Nation team is their support team. If a dispatch goes wrong but you have clear payment contingencies set in place, their support team will assist in resolving the matter with the technician. Field Nation's platform allows you to create an internal talent pool of trustworthy techs, as well as block techs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Field Nation is a tool that has helped our team quickly source, and meet client SLA's. Their large network of techs has helped us especially in situations where we have remote sites, but no internal vendors in the area. The platform also is very helpful when it comes to same day emergency dispatches. It's great to have an additional resource to use when all your internal vendors cannot assist.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I would not recommend to use Field Nation for quoted work. The follow through on timely, accurate, and fair quotes is lacking. It is a risk to dispatch a tech for site surveys, as techs will sometimes not submit quotes or will try add on their own Field Nation Fees to the quotes. Field Nation currently does not have any tools in place for quote standards or to assist techs with generating their own quotes via the platform. I would also not recommend Field Nation for more difficult dispatches that require 2 technicians, as there are no capabilities in the platform that will guarantee 2 techs.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend their team to analyze the platform's capabilities and how that may align with their company needs. Field nation's team is willing to provide ongoing training on their various automation tools and I would recommend them to take advantage of these tools.
