What differentiates Freehand from other similar products?
I've used it for everything from wireframe design to final layouts and prototypes. You may also use it to showcase your work by using interactive mockups. I've been in the InVision environment for a long time and have been solving numerous challenges at work; the development design with the aid of InVision has led to me producing good outcomes for constructing a website and prototype. He became an active member of the community thanks to synchronization with other applications.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's a well-organized and safe design software and InVision prototype is great. It's really simple to link displays, create multiple screen states, and the animations are typically smooth. You have a lot of say in how you offer the prototype to different individuals. Its InVision creative suite integration tools are the app's greatest features. One of the most significant visualization advances is the use of new layouts and templates for prototyping. You may also create prototypes of InVision mockups and designs.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Although it is a fantastic tool, because it is a diverse software, it must be combined with a plethora of different plugins, which I dislike. InVision crashes regularly, making collaboration with numerous designers difficult. There's also the bother of continuously updating the share link - only the file's owner can update the link, which may be extremely inconvenient when testing and needing to correct a minor fault.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
InVision is simple to use and you will quickly become accustomed to the UI. It is also comparable to other design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and others, making it simple for users to switch applications. A four-week intensive training will provide a novice with a reasonable degree of comprehension. It's fantastic if you're not working with enormous files and/or need to utilize them to display animation and UI talents. However, if you need to work with numerous designers or have a huge design file, InVision may not be for you.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product

What differentiates Freehand from other similar products?
We were seeking for a low-cost design prototyping solution for our small team. The advantages have included an easy method to display designs to stakeholders, a wonderful portable mode for developers, and an extraordinary ability to do unmoderated user testing from within InVision. The biggest advantage I see in adopting InVision is that anyone who is not a designer (project manager, for example) can quickly construct a mockup from the photographs, which is a great concept.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The experience of watching is fantastic. Its vibrant color pallet adds to the product's appeal. The main and finest feature is the picture upload option. The program itself is fantastic, and I really like the user testing feature. InVision is typically intuitive and inventive in terms of design for my team. As viewers, our stakeholders had no issues with the tool. It's exciting to see InVision continue to develop.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I believe the product's architecture and design distinguish it from its market competitors. It is also an important role in user conversion rate because other users are accustomed to the standard layout for UI UX design. However, there doesn't appear to be a method to preview a user test without producing a result. However, this is readily remedied with the ability to erase your "fake" result.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
A lot is going on in the world of content production software. It is critical to examine competing software in the same domain. This is an excellent solution if you need a simple tool to organize design prototypes. It's also a nice substitute for Marvel if you want to save money on tools.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product

What differentiates Freehand from other similar products?
We use InVision to build richer animations and prototypes for testing. I am in charge of building graphical interfaces for smartphone applications or website interfaces. It is also simple to prepare assets from InVision, such as color samples, typography, icon set, and characters.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is straightforward and focused, but not at the price of significant features such as sophisticated animation transitions. I really appreciate how you can upload prototype URLs for various purposes, such as user testing, feedback, and so on, and choose whether changes are saved and published or just stored. It is also feasible to construct the drawing boards in Photoshop and then import the work into InVision to produce the real prototype, which can then be shared with the customer.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The process of connecting displays to construct a prototype is time-consuming. Furthermore, InVision does not automatically adjust to the screen size of the device on which the preview is presented; you must specify which portion of an artboard is visible, i.e. set a vertical breakpoint, and the width of the artboard will shrink or grow to match the device. Touch motions are also lacking. Otherwise, fantastic software.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Obviously, if you're thinking of switching to InVision (or any similar product) from something else, there will be a learning curve. InVision has showed a lot of potential in the previous several years and has developed into a great solution in this market, in my opinion. Personal experience has shown me that it is superior than Sketch in certain ways but lacking in others. It is now the best program for UI/UX design, and it can handle both the design and prototype phases.
