The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
While purchasing decisions shouldn't be based on emotion, it's valuable to know what kind of emotional response the vendor you're considering elicits from their users.

The go-to, yet unreliable
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?
Google captured the market with its free tool many years ago, and it's simply the dominant player. With a breadth of features and GTM, it's hard to use something else.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Speed. Google Analytics crunches tons of data in a really fast way, others will just struggle with the amount of data that is required to power analytics nowadays.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Weird enough, I don't feel I can trust GA entirely. We developed a survey software and GA is one of the pieces we keep an eye on traffic, but it doesn't report accurately, even though we monitor the network requests continuously. It's always a little off like it doesn't capture all the interactions, and that's pretty unsettling.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You can't go wrong with GA, but it's best if you use GTM from the beginning, as you can have redundant systems and do a lot more. I wish it was a little easier to configure, but so it is when you have also a lot of features available, so it's worth the price of admission.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Inspires Innovation
Cons
- Slower Product Innovation
- Leverages Incumbent Status
