What is Google BigQuery?
BigQuery is a fully managed, AI-ready data analytics platform that helps you maximize value from your data and is designed to be multi-engine, multi-format, and multi-cloud. What differentiates Google BigQuery from other similar products?
In our company, we use BigQuery to hold incredibly detailed data. Our end-users and staff are then given extremely thorough reports based on the data that has been gathered. Members of Google Support are excellent at solving problems and answering questions. Any concerns or questions will be promptly addressed professionally, along with suggestions for how the offered solutions might be improved.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
A vast number of datasets can be stored by Google BigQuery at the most subtle level. Query execution is done extremely quickly even in seconds when compared to conventional SQL servers. Ingesting files and APIs in batches and streams can be readily possible. Automating reporting and refinement, executing business logic, merging data from many sources, and reformatting are all simple with Google BigQuery.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes utilizing Google BigQuery can be problematic due to the different syntax requirements. You must take precautions while conducting any queries because the expense is too high: we have to pay per query. It can be a little hard to handle somebody with less technical understanding because it calls for SQL knowledge.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Moving to Google BigQuery just makes perfect sense if your business has a huge amount of data and you require quick data processing; otherwise, there are less expensive options available. So, after carefully evaluating your needs, implement it if you determine that it is required for your business setting.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy

What differentiates Google BigQuery from other similar products?
Google BigQuery answers the problem of clarity in terms of the monthly payment, usage, and how to provide users access to various directories. Additionally, it enables total interaction with other elements of the Google Suite which make it more unique and competitive in the market. Simple to use even for those team members who are unfamiliar with cloud platforms.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The most significant part of Google BigQuery is that it is one of the best SQL data management solutions and the second amazing benefit is that it does not require managing instances or scaling clusters. It is one of the quickest, simplest, and least expensive methods I am aware of on the market. Additionally, it is more helpful for combining data from several other outside sources.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The layout of the UI/UX makes it initially challenging to utilize on a small display. If you just want a local setup, you can't utilize it outside of the Google cloud platform, which is the main downside. Setup is generally standard, and data schema customization is minimal.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is the smartest and most reasonably-priced approach for a company or business that wishes to build data warehouse logic. Because of its apparent lack of unity within the Google ecosystem, Big Query can be a highly helpful solution for storing and accessing your material if you utilize Google suites.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Performance Enhancing
- Unique Features
- Effective Service

One of the best Data Warehousing Service

What differentiates Google BigQuery from other similar products?
BigQuery stores data in columnar manner which is unlike any Database which helps in faster analysis of data and faster query runs. The query fired on tables is distributed across different nodes and query results are computed parallelly.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The Machine Learning capability of BigQuery is something that I like the most. Just by running a few SQL queries we can build and train an ML model without having to write any Python code. Another good feature is that we can schedule our queries to run and the results to be presented as part of dashboards/reports can be quickly computed using BI Engine
What do you dislike most about this product?
There is one bug while loading data of STRING type in BigQuery. If all the columns in the data are of string data type then BigQuery is not able to detect the column names on its own.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
BigQuery is one of the leading Data Warehousing tool and is a very efficient service provided by GCP. It can be easily connected with Data Integration and Analytical tools and it works seamlessly with almost every tool available in the market
Pros
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Unique Features
- Efficient Service
