What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
Jira Software is perfect for software teams in need of advanced agile functionality and structured workflow, Trello is ideal for quickly capturing and sharing ideas, lists, and to-dos.A customizable workflow designer, robust ecosystem of add-ons, and data center deployment option are just a few of the reasons software teams choose Jira Software over Rally.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite feature about it is Jira assigns a task and customizes the issues and subtasks in a whole team, also manages the workflow and track the progress. It also helps you to change the permission for a particular task within your team. You can change or also edit the permission at any time during the project.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There is nothing which I dislike about Jira. For teams who practice agile methodologies, Jira Software provides scrum and kanban boards out-of-the-box. Boards are task management hubs, where tasks are mapped to customizable workflows. Boards provide transparency across teamwork and visibility into the status of every work item. Time tracking capabilities and real-time performance reports (burn-up/down charts, sprint reports, velocity charts) enable teams to closely monitor their productivity over time.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend all to use this beacause, an increasing number of teams today are developing more iteratively, and Jira Software is the central hub for the coding, collaboration, and release stages. For test management, Jira integrates with a variety of add-ons so the QA’s testing slides seamlessly into the software development cycle. Teams can test effectively and iteratively. QA teams use Jira issues, customized screens, fields, and workflows to manage manual and automated tests.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
The platform was designed for technology-centric development and includes both ticketing and documentation capabilities which is nice. It would be challenging to use this product outside of that environment.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Simplified project structures for managing processes and tickets.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Slow - speed - is a major consideration when you have hundreds logging time on a product throughout the day. The loss in productivity is considerable.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Run a trial using existing workflows and data. There is a steep uphill in the data structure set up and you want to get close to perfect before rolling out the implementation. Adding fuctionality/data post launch is challenging.

Good features, easy to use, usage as you go

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
Built in integrations with Attlasian product run seamlessly. Task grouping and linking also work very well. Made it easy to relate each task with other respective card as history management. Task assigning and reporting also work well and notify well. The ease of integrating new field add a whole easier task achievement management easily by using their JQL.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Custom field creation. Easy to use link between tasks.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Attachment upload sometimes misbehaves, especially regarding large size image. Mobile version is barely bearable to use.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If mobile first you priority, I am sure there are other options for you. But if you mainly use desktop this tool is great. Manage your field well and it will save times when later down the line you need to calculate member KPI/OKR easily.
