Modern Device Management
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Intune from other similar products?
I think what makes Intune different from its other similar products is its level of security and easy remote device management that it provides. Better control over the devices, and customized configurations and policies with better administrative restrictions are some of the features that makes intune better than others
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love the fact that Intune integrates with other Microsoft cloud services, such as Office 365 and Windows 10, to provide a more complete mobile device management solution. The other favourite aspect would have to that it also integrates with existing on-premises Active Directory and System Center Configuration Manager infrastructures making it way easier to operate rather than doing those manually.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The UI/UX needs massive upgradation. Also sometimes you won’t get the notification prompts when you are trying to login which defeats the very purpose of using the software all together. The size of application that can be pushed through intune seems to be too low and for higher size apps you would have to switch to a different vendor.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would say its very good if you are already using other Microsoft applications that it can integrate with and its a complete device management software which comes with Microsoft support meaning timely updates. I would highly recommend it!
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Enables Productivity
- Effective Service
- Fair
