Quick design platform - easy to use but expensive
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Publisher from other similar products?
Microsoft Publisher has a easy learning curve and can help you with your daily designs with its intuitive templates and easy to use features.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Publishers doesn't cost as much as Photoshop and can get you all your basic designs. It has helped me design business cards, logos, postcards, etc.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Publisher is a costly product - the entire Microsoft Suite is expensive. But the cost is effective if you are a heavy user of Microsoft Products like I am.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is a must-try software for all the design beginners who can't afford more expensive software. You can although consider Canva as an alternative - it has excellent designs and an amazing template library.
Pros
- Client Friendly Policies
- Acts with Integrity
- Reliable
- Trustworthy

Very easy to use and great for basic designs.
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Publisher from other similar products?
This software is meant for the beginning designer and therefore does not have too many things that differentiate it from it's competitors. The two that stand out is that it can be included in your Microsoft office purchases and that it has an on-premise version. Most of it's competitors are cloud based.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ease of use. When you need to create a quick flyer or something of that nature it can be accomplished quickly.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I wish this product had better collaboration tools. Sometimes when working on the design of something multiple opinions are needed that could allow for multiple changes to be made by different people.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are not interested in the on-premise version I would recommend taking a look at a competitor such as Canva. That being said, if you want an on-premise software that allows for quick and easy designs that includes templates I'd recommend Publisher.
Pros
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy
- Effective Service
- Caring
