What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?
I have only used internally developed instant messaging services previously, and I am unlikely to go looking for a replacement after using Teams.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect is the loop component, particularly in support of preparation for meetings and tracking outstanding tasks. Using the loop component removes the bulky track changes in documents, and also the need to compare documents when changes misalign due to multiple user updates. This is particularly helpful when updating smaller sections or for urgent updates.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Instability of the application following a significant update. Changes are driven by MS rollout and can feel unexpected and chaotic if a feature suddenly becomes glitchy.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
To push the use of the Teams function and channels for pushing information through the company. Emails are great but can be overwhelming, however, the use of channels ensures users can review industry updates, governance changes etc in appropriate channels that are searchable and date-stamped when they have the time without missing critical emails due to overload.
Pros
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Security Protects
- Reliable

i can silence groups as necessaru
What do you dislike most about this product?
Having to reshare my screen after someone else took over the sharing. MS Can roll out updates that are still buggy, such as 'new' teams. If i mark something as 'unread', it only highlights the latest comment, not the unread comment
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Not perfect but constantly improving
