Perfect Tool For Virtual White-Boarding
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates MURAL from other similar products?
The virtual whiteboarding tools are the best. This has resulted in engaging brainstorming excercises with worldwide remote teams virtually at my organization.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I liked the vast amount of tools available at your disposal when collaborating. Mural offers an extensive library of icons, images, frameworks, and anything you could possibly need for whiteboarding. We've used Mural at my company for design brainstorming and designer interviews. It's very smooth and intuitive; many of the candidates we interviewed had never used the tool before but picked it up quickly. We have tested several collaboration tools at my organization throughout this pandemic and this time of working remotely, and Mural seems to have emerged as the best of the bunch.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I have briefly tested some of the project management options and I found them lacking. I would not recommend using this as a project management tool. For brainstorming and collaboration exercises it is the best, but stick to Jira or other tools for project management.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Get proper training for the tool and learn the UI. There are many features available, it can be overwhelming at first so its best to practice a bit before using it proper with your team.
