What differentiates Symantec Endpoint Security from other similar products?
The protection capabilities are multi-layered and reliable, as our test method demonstrates. Configuration and deployment are relatively straightforward and straightforward. The software is quite extensive and detects many potential network attacks and phishing or harmful emails. Security is exceptional and I am always alerted to potential threats immediately. The management console provides nice graphs of computer states and allows administrators to customize how endpoint management should behave.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It has an easy to use interface and its installation has never slowed down our systems. All settings are easy to make and use. Effectively detects and quarantines malware that can be easily seen in your management console. The system is also incredibly easy to deploy in our corporate environment thanks to well-designed management portals and streamlined deployment tools. The firewall here is very useful to be able to set the limits that we need.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are features that can be a bit overwhelming compared to other options. It's drawback is that the system may have a little bit of RAM during scans or self-tests.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend the implementation of this platform for its valuable capabilities in detecting potential threats that may cause damage to end equipment.

Symantec ES is a lightweight, rich solution

What differentiates Symantec Endpoint Security from other similar products?
Symantec Endpoint Security is our EDR solution, and it helps to ensure that our machines do not become infected and that they continue to comply with the policies of our organization. It does this by providing an extensive range of functionality that we employ, such as honeypots to waste the time of any attacker that might have gotten through, application control and isolation, the ability to quarantine infected machines, ransomware protection, and host-based intrusion detection systems (IDS).
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
A lightweight agent that does not interfere with the lawful activities of users in any way, even developers who compile sophisticated code. Alerting and Awareness of Threats Centrally Consolidated AI assistance with the formulation and implementation of policies.
What do you dislike most about this product?
When compared to other web consoles, this one is difficult to set up and frustratingly slow.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
We have discovered that Symantec Endpoint Security works best on more recent computers that have faster processors and more than 8 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM); otherwise, the client agent consumes too many resources and causes the computer to run more slowly. On the other hand, if you have a fleet of systems that is reasonably up to date, it is capable of doing all you would anticipate from an Endpoint Protection solution. It features excellent protection against malware and viruses. The anti-malware does not, however, provide complete protection. It was true.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy

What differentiates Symantec Endpoint Security from other similar products?
This is a established product that can does its job nicely. The centralized cloud console properly monitors shoppers and problems alerts as expected, interface is clean easy to use albeit a little too simple for the cloud version, compared to the on-prem Enterprise edition that presents clients during a tree structure and has the ability to form firewall and management policies and apply these to teams to manage traffic at the port level, service level or source/destination level.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is a really simple product for installation, configuration, and cloud management. All client Agent installations can be done merely without a further package distribution tool. All sep shoppers can be simply monitored from the reporting interface. So, If any client has the recent version or old signature can be easily updated from the Console with one click. Helps to reduce the client-based security vulnerabilities within the whole organization. Works as an honest protective wall against spams and protection for web gateways. Economical enough to guard against invisible threats (i.e. zero-day threats). End protection ensures the protection
What do you dislike most about this product?
Technical support can be a bit frustrating occasionally especially if the matter at hand isn’t directly concerning the agent. Portal-connected problems can take a little time to solve and more so since Broadcom took them over.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Like something else, test-drive everything including the management interface, reportage, and alerting features.
