What is Zapier?
Zapier is the glue that connects thousands of web apps. Zaps are workflows that connect your apps, so they can work together. Zaps start with a trigger—an event in one of your apps that kicks off your workflow. Zaps automate tasks in the background, so you can focus on more important work.

Allows us to optimize and create click automation.

What differentiates Zapier from other similar products?
The advantage obtained is that we can easily construct our own integrations rather than relying solely on the native functionality of our present products. What used to need special code is now accomplished using zaps. In diverse departments, solve operational challenges and build processes. Product prototypes: We can utilize Zapier to swiftly create a procedure for introducing new items to the market. We use Zapier to move data between platforms, alter data formats, generate tasks, and post notifications in Slack, among other things.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Zapier is compatible with a wide range of platforms (Salesforce, Zendesk, Gmail, Slack, etc). Connecting the two for various automations is simple and done totally declaratively. With testing, I was up and running with my first zap in around 30 minutes. Zapier ability to connect with almost any program, both third-party and our own bespoke application, and perform actions depending on that software. This has enabled us to design and enhance processes by integrating Zapier with several other apps (Looker, AirTable, ZenDesk, SalesForce, AWS, and Google Suite).
What do you dislike most about this product?
When constructing your criteria, each step/line item is not as concise as it may be. It "looks" basic enough, however the UI is not pleasant on the eyes while examining the stages above owing to the awkward and uninformative manner it presents the whole criteria. Once you get over the user interface, or lack thereof, it's an amazing and simple tool to use. You could properly explain the real actions each step. Managing Zaps produced by other administrators might be difficult.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It began as a necessity, but because of its simplicity, we began automating everything we could. Make sure you understand the access permissions and data flows. Also, there is a lot of versatility, whether you use Zapier built-in user tools or third-party applications (you can use Zapier tools to change formats, add code, or send an email, or you can use external apps to accomplish it); don't over-engineer to keep things simple. To ensure business continuity, specify who may build and own Zaps and connected apps.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity

Easy integrations and automate tasks.

What differentiates Zapier from other similar products?
We handle task and data entry automation. We mostly use Zapier to link LinkedIn automation tools to Google Sheets and our CRM (Active Campaign). It's also been used to send automated emails (from Google Sheet data entry). I don't have to constantly remember to update the large query in my Google Sheets financial model. Because we have daily figures, Zapier handles everything for me, saving me a lot of time every day, and everything is ready to go when I input the model.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It makes my life so much simpler when I need to change my excel templates on a daily basis and don't have to click refresh. Zapier may help you automate data input and other comparable operations. It's great for connecting processes across many software/tools. There is a learning curve, but it is typically simple to use, with simple exams and directions to follow.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I'm mainly satisfied with Zapier, however there are some automated activities that aren't doable or easy to put together with it. As an example, instead of adding a new column, you may update a single column in a Google Sheet row.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Check it out if you want to automate sales operations, marketing, internal tasks, or anything else that is repetitive. If you have any queries or problems, contact their customer care. They've also been around for a while, so there are lots of outside specialists who can assist.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
