What is Zapier?
Zapier is the glue that connects thousands of web apps. Zaps are workflows that connect your apps, so they can work together. Zaps start with a trigger—an event in one of your apps that kicks off your workflow. Zaps automate tasks in the background, so you can focus on more important work.

Literally no reason not to use it

What differentiates Zapier from other similar products?
Zapier is the rightful incumbent among citizen iPaaS providers. Thousands of apps are on the platform, and thousands more seem to be in beta or the planning stages. You can't NOT have it if you use SaaS products.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The raw time savings are amazing. Basically any repetitive manual tasks (business, marketing, whatever) can be automated using Zapier. This is a savings of at least 10 hours/week ... and probably far more. That this can be done without code is amazing.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Zapier will confuse many new users. It's absolutely critical to keep an offline map of integrations, and to describe everything in detail in the platform itself. You can double up work (or break automations and integrations) unintentionally if you're not paying attention to the big picture.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Zapier is no-code, but the learning curve definitely exists. You need to think like a programmer even if you're not coding like one.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy

The best tool for data automation and transfer
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Zapier from other similar products?
Zapier is easier to set up and manage than other programs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Our internal or external product evaluations now include whether or not a product is connected to Zapier. Thanks to Zapier's quick and easy integration, several best-of-breed products may be merged into effective solutions for specific situations that often handle side instances. "Let's have tool A connect with tool B whenever C occurs," says ZAier. Many "Zaps" (app connectors) already exist for many common use cases. For example, my accounting system may automatically generate an Offer Stub when an Opportunity reaches the "offer" stage. This is only one example of how people save time.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The subscription-based business model of Zapier may be challenging. It is usually best to start with a limited amount of Zaps accessible for a limited period. The number of uses is limited by the delay and the overall number of uses per day. There is no backup plan when an experimental Zap takes off and has to go live as quickly as possible. I spent a long time troubleshooting before realizing that my subscription choice may have caused the latency difficulties. I wouldn't complain about zap prices since they compel you to think about if a zap is genuinely worth it.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Using Zapier was the only solution we could discover to meet our data collecting requirements.

- Helps Innovate
