About Altaz Valani

Altaz Valani is a Principal Advisory Director at Info-Tech Research Group with a diverse background in AI, Security, Enterprise Architecture, and DevSecOps.

Prior to joining Info-Tech, Altaz was Director of Insights Research at Security Compass where he was a mentor, global collaborator, and evangelist for secure software development. He has been a Senior Manager at KPMG and held various positions working alongside senior stakeholders to drive business value through technology. Altaz has also served as Vice Chair of the Security Forum at The Open Group and continues to regularly participate in industry and standards working groups around AI. He sits on the Board of OASIS and is a member of Forbes Technology Council.

Altaz has been recognized for his efforts through awards, published articles, academic papers, and conference presentations.

Altaz is also the Founder of DevSecOpsMentor.com, a community that provides mentorship to young engineers. The mission is to help transform these engineers into active, global contributors so they can influence our world for good.
