Ben Rich is Info-Tech’s lead subject matter expert on federal legislation impacting technology leaders. He focuses on translating the technical legislative details into "plain speak," highlighting the key information so that IT organizations can take real action and concrete steps in response to policy developments. He has over ten years of experience in public sector roles focused on legislative analysis, including at the federal, provincial (state), and municipal levels in Canada. He has also been a government relations specialist for the University of Toronto, which is ranked as a top 25 global higher education institution. He holds an Honours BA in Political Science from The University of Western Ontario (Canada), and a Masters of Public Policy and Administration from Ryerson University (Canada).
