About Dale McCook

Dale McCook is a seasoned information technology and business executive leading large-scale portfolio and program management initiatives. He uses the effective blend of people, technology, strategy, and process to develop valued solutions to business challenges. He has served for more than 25 years at the State of New York Metropolitan Transit Authority in positions responsible for IT governance, IT strategy, emerging technologies, and management controls.

Starting his career as a technology consultant, he learned first-hand the importance of truly understanding client needs and strategies to provide valued solutions. He successfully transitioned into executive management with a focus on empowering people to be innovative and deliver their best.

Dale has managed IT solutions development, organizational planning and transformation, financial budgeting, business partnership management, emerging technologies, service delivery, IT strategic planning, governance, and controls. Adept at innovative technological applications for enhanced client support, increased productivity, and cost reduction, he has a proven track record in leading multi-million-dollar technology organizations. 

Dale has presented at various conferences on technology and governance and served on the IEEE Standards Board New Standards Committee (NESCOM).

Dale earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the City University of New York, City College and holds certifications in ITIL®, COBIT®, and Project Management.
