About Harry Herrmann

Harry is a thirty-year experienced leader in enterprise IT, who is passionate about optimizing processes and technology to best serve people.

For nineteen years, Harry led a healthcare information technology team that provides enterprise support for one of the largest hospital outsourcers, serving 900 hospitals in 47 states. This allowed him to collaborate with IT, administrative, and physician leadership in multiple enterprises and provided him with insights in technology, patient care, and the healthcare revenue cycle process. Harry has also served as the CIO of a large, geographically distributed primary care physician group, and as the Senior Director of the IT organization in a not-for-profit multi-hospital system.

Harry earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He is a Registered Professional Engineer. Harry served as a District Engineer for the third largest investor-owned utility in the U.S. and as the Director of Engineering for a University Hospital prior to making his career transition into IT.

His research interests include organizational design, governance, application portfolio management, strategic planning, and operational performance and metrics.
