About Ivan Brock
Ivan is a seasoned enterprise architecture leader with a career spanning several decades, marked by a proven track record in driving transformative change across diverse business landscapes. Previously, he led the Enterprise Architecture practice at one of Canada’s largest retailers, where he managed a dynamic team of enterprise, data, and security architects and successfully drove pivotal initiatives including application rationalization, capability modeling, and the creation of architecture and technology advisory boards, all aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and fostering innovation.
Before his tenure in retail, Ivan spent two decades at one of the top three telecoms in Canada, in various leadership roles. There, he was instrumental in evolving the IT ecosystem and working closely with Product Development and Engineering to architect the systems supporting key products. His strategic vision and expertise in aligning technology with business goals have consistently driven growth and operational excellence. Ivan holds a Doctorate from the University of British Columbia and is a certified SAFe agilist.
