About Jeff Long
Jeff Long is an Advisory Director working with the Contract Review & Price Benchmarking and Negotiation team. Jeff’s vendor expertise incudes human capital management, with vendors such as Workday, Ceridian, and UKG, and security platform vendors such as Palo Alto, Cisco, and Crowdstrike. With 30+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement experience, spending the last 10 years focused on the IT space, embedded with IT departments working on various technology deals, Jeff considers himself part of the team for any client he is working with and treats each and every agreement like it is his own company’s budget.
Jeff is passionate about helping clients achieve the best IT vendor deals. When it comes to enterprise-scale IT projects, securing a fair and favorable deal is often challenging. Disparate prices and low transparency make cost optimization difficult, even under the best circumstances. Fortunately, Jeff has deep expertise with technologies that matter most, allowing him to guide you toward right-sized, sustainable IT vendor agreements that deliver high value.
He preserves a strong and productive relationship with your IT vendors, as he never communicates directly with the vendor during an active engagement. He is available as a partner and resource at any time, leaving you in full control of your partnerships and outcomes.
Prior to joining Info-Tech, Jeff worked at multiple Fortune 700 firms in various industries, including L3Harris Technologies, Citigroup, Capital One Financial, AirTran Airways, Electronic Arts, and Truist Financial. This vast experience has enabled Jeff to build an extensive negotiation toolkit while gaining invaluable knowledge and experience of best-in-class procurement and strategic sourcing processes.
Jeff holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.
