About Joseph Meier

As a Senior Executive Advisor within our Global Services Team, Joe partners with CIOs and Executive IT Leaders to achieve and sustain success by identifying their key opportunities to increase business value, foster innovation, improve operational effectiveness, and enhance client engagement. He leverages Info-Tech’s continually evolving tool and service offerings to ensure visible progress and measurable value, while maintaining alignment with proven industry practices.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience in Information Technology (IT), Joe represents expansive knowledge in IT governance, planning, and management practices, including strategic planning, portfolio/program/project management, demand management, business/finance management, relationship management, service management, and organizational change management. Joe maintains a keen awareness of IT risk/value trade-offs and the importance of maintaining appropriate blend of people, process, and technology change as critical success factors in any IT-related transformation.

He brings extensive experience in healthcare and higher education sectors, with more recent experience in K-12 education and state/local government sectors. He has achieved repeated success directing mission-critical technology and organizational transformations involving large-scale enterprise growth, mergers, and divestitures – some with national visibility.

Joe joined Info-Tech from Penn State Health, where he established/directed IT governance functions for the Penn State Health System and affiliated Penn State University College of Medicine, an integrated multibillion-dollar academic health system and affiliated medical/graduate school comprised of multiple hospitals, research centers, and affiliated institutes located throughout the State of Pennsylvania, with a shared mission of patient care, education, and research.

Joe maintains an entrepreneurial spirit and is passionate about partnering with others to drive positive change. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with honors and industry ITIL certification in IT service management.
