About Justin Eggstaff

Justin is the Managing Partner at Info-Tech Research Group for US Federal and Department of Defense clients. He has over 25 years of experience as a Chief Executive and Chief Technology Officer, and he is an expert acquisition professional whose experience spans the acquisition life cycle. He has supported numerous Federal and Department of Defense clients in areas including strategy development and planning, organizational design, process improvement, program management, cybersecurity assessment, technology development, data analysis, business analytics, human capital strategy, strategic communications and operational risk management.

Before joining Info-Tech, Justin was a Director of Operations and Senior Acquisition Advisor with Precise Systems, Inc. responsible for the development, manufacturing, and deployment of numerous software and hardware programs for the Department of Defense and US Federal clients. Prior to entering the industry, Justin served as an officer with the United States Marine Corps. In addition to conducting numerous combat deployments to Southeast Asia and the Middle East as an AH-1W helicopter pilot and Forward Air Controller, Justin served as a Developmental Test Pilot, Chief Engineer, Integrated Product Team Lead, and a number of senior leadership positions in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Among assignments, he was the Commanding Officer of the Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity and the Commanding Officer of the Marine Aviation Detachment Naval Air Station Patuxent River, China Lake, and Point Mugu.  

Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, a Masters of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Technical Management from the Johns Hopkins University, National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Systems Engineering from George Washington University.
