About Michel Hebert

Michel Hébert is practice lead for Industry Research at Info-Tech Research Group. He leads a team that delivers research and advisory services tailored to the unique needs of specific industries, helping technology leaders make confident decisions and drive meaningful outcomes. A skilled facilitator and advisor, Michel supports CIOs and IT executives across public and private sectors in aligning technology strategy with business priorities.

Michel’s professional interests include the use of AI in cybersecurity — particularly for threat prediction and attribution — ransomware resilience, and the governance of emerging technologies. He also has a sustained focus on identity and access management, digital resilience, and improving the quality and impact of research in advisory contexts.

Prior to joining Info-Tech, Michel served as a faculty member at Western University and Huron University College, and as a commissioned officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Western University. Michel brings a thoughtful, systems-oriented approach to complex technology problems, always working to translate insight into action.
