Use this phase to determine which grant applications are your organization's top priority based on the likelihood of being awarded the funds, the feasibility of implementing the grant, and the resources available to write the grant application. This phase includes the following sections:
- Gather and record critical information about the grant funding opportunity
- Speak with the organization's priority sponsors to learn about the feasibility of implementing the project if awarded grant funding
- Have priority sponsors advocate for why the related grant should be pursued
- Working with required participants to get consensus on which funding opportunities will be pursued
Align your organization on which grant funding opportunities will be prioritized in order to increase the chances of being successfully awarded grants.
