Incorporating lessons learned has been proven to significantly improve an organization's ability to successfully manage future crises. Use this template to guide identifying lessons learned from a crisis or crisis management plan testing exercise. Specifically, this template provides guidelines to capture:
- Timeline of Events (e.g. who was the first responder, what caused the event, when was the CMT notified?)
- Process Review (e.g. were process steps followed?)
- Action Items (e.g. what tasks have to be completed to incorporate lessons learned?)
