What do you dislike most about this product?

the thing I dislike most about Aha! Roadmaps is the learning curve. While the tool is incredibly powerful, it can be overwhelming at first, especially for new users. Some of the features and customization options require time to fully understand, which can slow down adoption within teams. I wish there were more intuitive onboarding or simpler ways to get up to speed quickly without feeling overwhelmed.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're considering Aha! Roadmaps, I highly recommend taking the time to thoroughly explore its features and customize it to fit your team’s needs. It's a powerful tool, but to fully harness its potential, you’ll need to invest some time in learning how to integrate it with your existing workflows and tools. I also suggest starting with a smaller project to get comfortable before scaling it across the entire organization. And, definitely take advantage of the support resources – they’re incredibly helpful in guiding you through the more complex features. It’s worth the effort for the long-term benefits in strategy and execution alignment.

The distinctive element of Aha! is its emphasis on product strategy, roadmapping and linking ideas to broader business objectives. As a Program Manager, it helps me to organise initiatives, priorities and timelines.

My favorite aspect is the roadmap and planning experience. It provides me with a good overview of priorities, initiatives and upcoming work to communicate with various stakeholders. I also enjoy linking big picture goals with more specific work, to ensure programs stay on track as they move forward.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are lots of planning elements in the platform, so it's possible to take some time to get used to the workflow and setup.

Plan for your key objectives and the roadmap structure first so that you can create more detailed planning features. A well-organized workspace will help teams and other stakeholders leverage the platform.
