OpenText ALM integrates seamlessly with a bunch of other tools we use, like Jira for task management. This is a lifesaver – no more data silos or information black holes

Sure, OpenText ALM is a powerful tool, but one thing I'd love to see improved is the reporting functionality. Right now, it feels a bit clunky and not as user-friendly as it could be.

Complexity of the user interface and a learning curve, especially for new users

It's made a huge difference. It's a great tool for monitoring an application's life cycle. It is also possible to link it with DevOps technologies to provide dynamic testing to guarantee the caliber of builds. ALM Octane is the only tool that offers a very user-friendly and intuitive UI.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My clients were using ALM, its predecessor, and Octane was the best option because of the affordable conversion and technical ability to use an application solution built on an agile architecture. Now I'm also able to do so and their customer assistance is available 24/7 to assist their customer although it offers a good deal for the price, in my opinion. This application offers a practical method for managing products during their entire lifecycle. ALM Octane has a REST API that can be used with any automation tool to upload test results.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Although their customer care is useful, providing comprehensive documentation is a fantastic alternative for initial configuration, customization, and deployment as there is enough information and helpful content there. It's too late and too little, which is more significant. ALM Octane is attempting to emulate the standards Jira and RallyDev established years ago, but what's the use?

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

ALM Octane is the best software that gives you the confidence to deliver the best application at the time of production. I like that anyone can keep an eye on the work and be able to complete the best and well-performed application in nearly less time than its rivals. This tool has all feature needed for the Product Development Lifecycle. To give our clients the best value and service possible, we can integrate with all sector leaders. The Consultants answer our questions in a timely manner. The application's user interface (UI) is incredibly responsive and functions effectively on practically any device.
