Outstanding VM as a service offering from AWS

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
Amazon's EC2 is the VM as a service from AWS. AWS, the pioneer of the cloud in industry, offered EC2 as one of it's first offerings (service). EC2 family has wide range of OSes and features and also different generations of CPUs and a lot other features. Other cloud VM services doesn't contain the features and OS types that AWS EC2 offers.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Everything about EC2 is awesome, we can spin up VM instances in few seconds that too with high end configurations. Whether it be Linux or Windows we can choose whatever the OS we want. We will be charged per minute usage, if you stop your VM, you won't be charged. It helps us in cost savings. Also we can opt reserve instances and savings plan options to save further more costs by committing to use instance for a time period and use pre specified computing.
What do you dislike most about this product?
If yuh spin up a VM and forget to stop it when done, heavy costs will incur. There are no downsides of using EC2 instance if we use them responsibly
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would suggest this to anyone who is looking to save money by hosting their application in cloud, without maintenance overhead.
