What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
Well, there isn’t much that sets EC2 apart on the surface—after all, cloud infrastructure is everywhere nowadays. But if I had to point to one thing, it’s the sheer flexibility it offers.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) feature is an absolute beast in the sense that once you set it up, it takes so much of the load off your shoulders
What do you dislike most about this product?
What grinds my gears a bit is the interface. It’s powerful, yes, but it’s not the most intuitive. I mean, sometimes it feels like I’m digging through endless layers just to find one specific option
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Once you’re in, make sure you’ve got a solid understanding of what instance types fit your workload—it can save you money and headaches down the line

Wide range of servers and services that are on the stack which covers almost all of the use cases that you want to create a solution around.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing so far, but there is always an scope of improvement. The ML services (custom) today once spinned up cannot be disabled and are required to be deleted in case of no usage over a period of time. If it cannot be disabled it will incurr a cost which can be avoided.
