Expensive with basically zero support

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
What differentiates Amazon Web Services from similar products is they were essentially the first provider of its kind. Now that most of its features are ubiquitous among cloud providers, perhaps this is no longer relevant.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect of Amazon Web Services is the finely grained access control. Multiple users and groups can be created, and granted access to specifics of each service available on AWS in a unified fashion.
What do you dislike most about this product?
What I dislike most about Amazon Web Services is they have the audacity to not provide support for their cloud platform. Usage of features is relatively expensive, and despite this, support packages are chargeable.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Amazon Web Services has a free tier where you can use smaller instances of their services at no cost. I recommend trying this, but perhaps use a pre-paid payment method, as it fully opens you to costs if you go over the free tier in an equivalent to writing a blank cheque.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Security Protects
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
Cons
- Less Effective Service
- Less Caring
- Wastes Time

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
Amazon Web Services has the best services in SASS when compared to any other product out in the market. With well-built documentation, most of the cloud migration can be implemented without a lot of pain
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
AWS has a lot of services and they promote new features to all regions as soon as possible. Reporting, Cost Management, Cloud Watch, Role-Based Access are some of the best features I like in AWS. Supports most of the coding languages with their specific SDKs.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The cost is a little on the higher side. And Governance related services should have better documentation.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is for sure best suitable for enterprise-level companies. Most of the Services SLA for downtime is 99.999 which is the best guarantee any cloud provider can assure. Reliability matters a lot in a large customer base and AWS helps in upholding it.
