Basecamp helps teams stay coordinated
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?
I like how we may have separate places for each task or construct many projects underneath one profile. There seems to be a lot of leeway, but different elements like the timetable, to-dos, and comment board keep everybody focused. Basecamp is constantly updating their product to improve efficiency. Their new roster is likely to make a significant difference in projects as well as large initiatives.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In an enterprise scenario, we utilize Basecamp to answer for consumer interactions. Inboxes are generally so clogged with CRM communications and intra company messaging that utilizing Basecamp to monitor client deliveries is far more convenient than scouring an email.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I may not like how older finished chores may be shown beneath each area. Based on how often we have, the room might get cluttered. We can simply archive lists, but I don't always intend to archive my entire list; instead, I simply want to clear up certain finished tasks.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I've used various project management software in the past, and this is considerably better in terms of simplicity of usage and explicit project management categories. I definitely suggest this method to any organization out there - you can enable clients to access some records while reserving certain products solely for the internal staff.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
- Respectful
- Fair

Great collaboration and communication tool
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?
The ability to communicate, collaborate, and see where we are on different products and teams in one tool is great. Everyone at our company can check in with projects and teams if they want.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Being able to communicate and collaborate with everyone.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It's not really a problem, but the way we collaborate with outside clients/freelancers who need access to different projects or teams is different than how Basecamp handles it. So we do it differently than Basecamp. Not really a dislike about Basecamp, but the flexibility to change certain aspects of the tool is limited.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It's a great tool to keep teams aware of what's going on. It's much better than Slack for keeping track of communications on specific tasks or projects. If you're using Slack for team communication, give Basecamp a try. It changed the way our company communicates and collaborates.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
