· This tool promotes and helps the flow of information to be fluid at all levels of users, that is, between workers, managers and even with clients. · Basecamp is a very useful tool especially for IT companies, since it is possible to interact with the client establishing delivery or response time and storage of each information that is exchanged transparently and on time. · Basecamp, offer a wide range of options in terms of their rates, from totally free versions, which seek to induce a feeling of need for the product by the potential customer.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Basecamp handles more of the detailed work on a day-to-day basis.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

· Basecamp provides access and command levels to be able to clearly define the leadership of the work team in charge of the project. This would be very useful to make the tool even more attractive. · Clearly the tool could allow assigning a cost to each task in order to allow issuing not only a report of time per task, but also a more complete report of cost vs. time spent per task. · Finally, regarding the storage capacity, this could be higher since generally the files used as images or graphics are heavy and take up too much space.

In essence, Basecamp allows the team to properly distribute the work, converse on the various topics quickly, make big announcements, keep the discussions on the agenda and established topics, store and organize key files and assets, set milestones and deadlines, as well like conducting routine checks to make sure everything is in order. All this, Basecamp manages to do it in a simple and friendly way.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- Among its attributes, Basecamp within my work environment, offers task lists, an editor (collaborative type) of documents, milestone markings, files shared by the various users / members of the project team, timestamp registration, as well as a chat-type instant messaging platform. - Making simplicity its main attraction, that is, showing itself as a friendly environment (“user-friendly”), within which the various options are clearly visible, thus leaving little space or time for distractions. - Streamlines project management activities. - Offers a varied list of functions. - It has versions for cell phones.

What do you dislike most about this product?

- The Basecamp team updates and / or modifies the tool without prior notice.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Basecamp is a tool with many functionalities that help the effectiveness and efficiency of a project, of which we can highlight: - Allows notifications and reminders through e-mail. - By integrating with external calendars (Google Calendar, iCal and Outlook) it allows assigning tasks to different users by setting time limits. - Track tasks with the use of milestones and task list. - Allows you to view the status of all the tasks and comments of the project through the task board; it also allows measuring the duration time used in each one.
