What differentiates Cisco Secure Endpoint from other similar products?
It has an integrated security ecosystem called SecureX which is very helpful in enhancing protection of the system data when incorporated with other cisco secure applications like Cisco FirePower, Cisco Email Security Appliance, Cisco Web Security Appliance etc. It also enhances the oversight at the firewall level.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It seamlessly integrates with Secure Malware Analytics, which helps in automatically submitting any suspicious files found for in-depth analysis. This ensures a very low false positive rate, providing more accurate and reliable threat detection and as it runs in the background, it doesn't require any end user involvement.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are times when it takes too long to connect to the client VPN or even disconnects itself automatically without any warning.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If the requirement is to protect critical client data, for the best possible outcomes and optimum security I would recommend implementing the complete Cisco Secure ecosystem rather than going for one product at a time.
Pros
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Saves Time
- Transparent

What differentiates Cisco Secure Endpoint from other similar products?
Cisco Secure Endpoint defends your users' network from various threats and attacks, including ransomware, malware, and exploits. It uses extremely minimal RAM memory and detects threats very quickly. Also, AV-Comparatives has certified Cisco AMP as a "Approved Business Product."
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like the perspective that Cisco AMP offers. We are able to identify problems more quickly because of its amazing detail. Additionally, the agent was quite lightweight, which is always a huge bonus for a company like ours. With the aid of Cisco AMP, IT is able to remotely manage end user's machine which is a big deal to help support end users' remotely.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Installing on Macs is not as easy as it sounds. Another thing I dislike is the interface's several views all have the same appearance but different/varied functionality. This makes it very challenging to decide on an action to take.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Cisco Secure Endpoint is a solution that gives you great visibility of your deployed assets and any detected threats on them, with options to remediate. This cloud-based product can interact with your devices both on-premise (on-site) and potentially off-site.
