Easy to use, helped us get organized!!

What differentiates Coda from other similar products?
Really simple set up and ease of use! Doesn't take much for people to spin up and learn.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ability to visually store all of our information in a way that is easy for the team to find it. Compared to large file trees that we were using before, this has been a game changer!! Even small things such as the emojis depicting each page has been hugely useful!
What do you dislike most about this product?
It would be nice if there was more integration into microsoft products. If I want to convert something to a word document it can take some copy and pasting work and it would be nice if we could do it automatically instead. For excel we link the coda pages to the excel documents directly because there aren't really any table features.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Sounds silly, but use the emojis to categorize pages! It's made a huge visual difference in keeping us organized!!
Pros

Great product for a variety of use cases!

What differentiates Coda from other similar products?
The integration with so many different APIs. The amount of available packs and the ability to build custom packs enables so much integration with other platforms.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The versatility. I first thought Coda was similar to Google Docs but when I learned about the out of the box integrations and templates available, it really ups the productivity game and unlocks a lot of potential.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Coda has a ton of capabilities but I don’t think a lot of capabilities have as much depth at times. Coda is an amazing tool for product management, but wire-framing doesn’t really work on the platform. For a handful of things, Coda tries to be the all-in-one platform but still requires external tools for a lot of tasks.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Coda serves a specific use case. Think about how you want to use Coda and which problem you’re looking to solve. It can be easy to make the investment without fully understanding the value add.
Pros
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy
- Efficient Service
