What differentiates Deputy from other similar products?
I track my employee's working hours/breaks, forward this information to Gusto and use the notes feature so that the employee can notify me of any issues. Deputy is an affordable planning tool that definitely outperforms spreadsheets for creating weekly plans.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Deputy is a very simple way to schedule staff and integrates well with other platforms we use. Deputy is a very simple way to schedule staff and integrates well with other platforms we use.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Integration can be difficult. Analytics are terrible. Quadratic integration draws out fictitious numbers. Graphical planning tools do not reflect meaningful numbers. Support doesn't understand the problem and tries to brush it off and avoid any real improvement.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I love how easy it is for employees to go to work using the Deputy app on their phones. I also like how easy it is to change timesheets if someone forgets to clock in or clock out. Also, having different groups/departments is very helpful as you can keep track of who has been trained and what department they are working in. You can also see the exact location where your employees clocked in or clocked out. It is also very convenient to receive notifications when employees ask for vacation or holiday requests. Being able to copy an entire week of your schedule and paste it into the next week is great.

What differentiates Deputy from other similar products?
Solve timesheet problems and record working hours, breaks, lunch breaks, and vacation requests in a fast-changing industry. Planning is much easier than others. The news feed is the main reason I keep using Deputy.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Easy to plan. Use numerous location options and news feeds. Our employees appreciate the ease of handling. Ease of setup and end-user experience is top-notch. Approving and organizing employee working hours is also very easy. It also has integration with Gusto's payroll service if you want to use it.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The only drawback of Deputy is the inability to customize graphics within the design framework. It would be nice to have the ability to change the color and background for each user.

What differentiates Deputy from other similar products?
The advantage I noticed was that it was very smooth and easy to navigate. It provides a lightweight and portable solution for tracking employee hours with minimal effort. Generated timesheets are easy to review, approve and export.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's very easy to navigate through the website and app. It helps you keep track of your time at work such as clock in, clock out, and lunch break. Documentation can be easily localized. A great and simple solution to make it easier for your employees to get to work. The Kiosk feature works well and is the main feature we use. Enable useful features such as taking pictures. There is also an option to allow users to track time on their mobile devices using geofencing.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The scheduling functionality is not very robust or intuitive. When we signed up it was supposed to be integrated into Netsuite, but that feature is currently out of production and we last heard they were working on it, but don't have an exact timeline. Some employee management features such as set/get PIN code, archive employees, etc. are buried in strange places in the UI and difficult to access.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The user interface is easy to use. It provides just the right amount of information without including issues that might need to be resolved or data that is irrelevant to the issue.
