What differentiates Deputy from other similar products?
In a fast-paced, constantly changing industry, we log hours worked, breaks, meal breaks, and requests for time off with the help of the Deputy. Some tasks are much simpler than others. The primary reason we continue to use Deputy is the News Feed.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Shift scheduling is simple. It is simple to inform employees of upcoming jobs and whether we need to work overtime. It is simple to use the interface. Without including data that is, in some instances, irrelevant to the issue or problem that requires a solution, it provides the appropriate amount of information.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It was a terrible CSM onboarding experience. I had to get in touch with my sales representative for most of it, which is not her job. For troubleshooting purposes, users were required to submit tickets. Because Rippling handles our payroll and is too complicated for scheduling, we only intended to use the platform for scheduling. We've switched back to Google Sheets, hoping it would work out.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Both the website and the app are very simple to use. useful for keeping track of time at work, whether you're clocking in and out of shifts or taking a lunch break. It is simple to locate documents.
