Easy to use and cost effective.

What differentiates Fortinet SASE from other similar products?
Since its caring the FortiOS DNA, the ease of use is already there. If your currently using FortiGate or any Fortinet product then the day to day administrative task is just walk in the park. Application control and Web Filter is as great or even more powerful than the traditional setup. What I want to see though is, for the product to compete closely with the SASE provider leaders like Zscaler which is cloud native SASE. SAML integration to other vendor also need to improve.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Ease of use for both end users and IT administration. Its integration with on-prem firewall was also great especially for ZTNA.
What do you dislike most about this product?
CASB and SSO integration.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Contact your IT Vendor/partner. You can also contact me or any of my peers, as we can give you proof of concept and value to this product. Its not as capable as the SASE leaders but if the core function is what you need then this is the product for you. Price to Value is really that efficient.
