What differentiates Fortra's Automate from other similar products?
Comprehensive features and functionality that are constantly being improved upon.Their technical support and customer service is the gold standard by which I judge other software vendors. No one comes close to these guys. When I contact them for assistance they always come through with a solution. Never disappointed and always delighted.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's wide array of functions. From server reboots to Sharepoint automation to alerts to automated report scheduling and running, there is virtually nothing that this product can not do. If you can imagine something Automate can help you make it a reality. It's the glue between all of our systems.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing at all
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
HelpSystems has been around a long time. I started with them on the IBM AS/400 and now moved to the Windows platform. No one sticks around and is successful in this industry like they have been. It's a testament to the product offerings which are constantly growing, their management/ownership and the retention of their employees through the years. A solid and stable company that provides great service and utility. They want your organization to succeed by using their products and will assist you in making it happen.
