a lot of essential features in a lightweight solution

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Simplicity

What do you dislike most about this product?

As with most things, I wish it was a bit cheaper. I don't mind paying but I don't use everything so would consider an even more lightweight plan

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Most accountants don't like using FreeAgent's reporting feature which is telling but most will work with it. If you need basic accounting software, start here

What differentiates FreeAgent from other similar products?

It's available for free through my accountant, so no additional fees to my business.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

That it suggests an explanation for transactions based on previous transactions and this can save a lot of time.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Every three months the feed from my business bank accounts is disconnected and I have to reconnect it manually. There is no notification by email to renew it. Don't understand why this is even required after the initial set-up. Frustrating and a waste of time. Also, it stopped the live feed from my Amex.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a good book-keeping solution but not great when it comes to analysing your spending or revenue.
