Data Warehouse for every e-commerce
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Google BigQuery from other similar products?
Its free tier is greatly valuable to start-ups.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The data warehouse is easy to connect. It is scalable and gives you a good performance. When you are starting from scratch, this is the best data warehouse one can bank on to secure all the data. They try to innovate to a great degree. They in fact came up with data science models in the query engine itself.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing really. Google's services are rarely unpleasant for the money they charge and service they offer.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are starting an e-commerce based on Shopify, do get the google big query. It will help to host all the data from backend. You can run the reports easily on it. Can't recommend doing this enough,

What differentiates Google BigQuery from other similar products?
BigQuery is a fully managed, serverless data warehouse that handles all aspects of storage and maintenance, allowing users to focus on analyzing data rather than managing infrastructure. This serverless approach is a significant differentiator from traditional data warehouses that require server management. BigQuery is deeply integrated with other GCP services, like Google Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub, providing a comprehensive cloud analytics solution within the Google ecosystem.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of Google BigQuery is its serverless, fully managed architecture. This feature significantly reduces the complexity and overhead associated with managing a traditional data warehouse. The fact that I don't need to worry about server maintenance or infrastructure scaling allows me to focus entirely on analyzing data and gaining insights.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I do not really understand its primary purpose as in why it was built.
