Incredibly easy to create and edit!

What differentiates Google Forms from other similar products?
The requirement to need a Google account for anything you do that is Google-related. While understandable, it is incredibly inconvenient when managing multiple Google accounts at a time, and the first one you sign in to is set as the default. So whenever I try to open Google Drive for a different account, it will always open to my default account first. Other than Apple, I don't know what other companies require all your products to be linked.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Google Forms is incredibly easy to create and edit, and even easier for those needing to fill out the forms to access on the go. I love that all of the entries are entered into a spreadsheet. I have the spreadsheet duplicated so I can run formulas on it and pull the information I need out without any additional work. There was some trial-and-error that took place when the form was first set up, but after a few submissions, I was able to go in and tweak the form as needed. It took all of two seconds and was immediately live.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The simplicity. While it is incredibly great for everyday surveys or forms, I would like there to be an added level of complexity when and if needed. I would like to have the full features of SurveyMonkey without having to use SurveyMonkey. Also, I hate that is asks for your email address even when your email address is recognized when you open the form. There should be an option to bypass the required email question if you have already logged in with a Google account that Google recognizes.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Just go for it. The forms are incredibly easy to set up, manage, and view the analytics on. Just make sure you create them from the correct Google account. There isn't a whole lot of room for customization other than changing the color background and adding an image for the header so if brand consistency is important to you, this may not be the option for you.
Pros
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Security Protects
