What differentiates Google Meet from other similar products?
Integration with G Suite - Google Meet is deeply integrated with other G Suite apps like Gmail, Calendar, Drive etc. making it easy to start meetings and share content. Quality and reliability - Google Meet uses WebRTC technology for high quality, reliable video meetings that work well even on poor connections. The infrastructure backing it ensures minimal glitches. Free availability - A basic version of Google Meet is available for free to anyone with a Google account. Paid versions add additional features for business use. Other products often require paid subscriptions.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
If I had to pick one favorite aspect of Google Meet, it would be the seamless integration with G Suite and other Google services. Being able to start meetings instantly from Gmail or Google Calendar with just a click, being able to easily invite contacts from my Google Contacts list, and having the meeting link automatically added to Calendar events makes the whole experience frictionless.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Limited customization - There aren't a ton of options for customizing the meeting experience. You can't customize the meeting lobby, waiting room, background images, or meeting controls very much. Audio quality - The audio quality is generally decent, but not amazing. In some meetings, the audio can sound compressed or robotic at times. It works well enough, but isn't crystal clear. Video quality - Similarly, the video quality is good enough for meetings but lags behind some competitors in HD video smoothness and clarity.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
