What differentiates Google Meet from other similar products?

For Workspace users like me, the compatibility between Google Meet and other Workspace applications like Calendar, gmail, Google Drive, sheets etc complements my experience. Allowing for easier video meeting scheduling, data exchange ( file sharing) and even let me bring document collaboration into my video meeting experience.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Strong presence on mobile. I am using Google meet for ios on ipad and Google Meet for android on mobile phone. I can join and initiate meetings without an hassle. There is no dropdown in quality between when I use Meet on computer web browser and when used on mobile applications. Infact, I will say Google Meet is steps better on mobile application than on desktop browser.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Google Meet still does not provide a transcription support or feature. Also, Google Meet struggles to work properly on other browsers not named Chrome or Firefox.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Meet provides the basic but I wouldn't rate anything about this platform as extraordinary.

Google meet is very easy to use with Gmail application which one uses everyday.

Google meet doesn't work that well with mobile application.

Google meet works flawlessly if your primary email application is Gmail
