What differentiates Gusto from other similar products?
This software is one of the most complete with which we have worked in the human resources department of the company, as it covers a large number of tasks, which we can easily solve, leaving aside manual activities. As the automation of payroll, achieving that insurance payments, taxes and other employee benefits, are paid without failures or miscalculations.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It has important tools such as the calculation of taxes and duties, which can be done automatically. It also allows the monitoring of hours worked, absences and overtime, to achieve an accurate calculation of the payment of employees. In the database of employees, it has a comprehensive profile of each of them, where we can see their history within the company.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We have had some complaints from employees, since, when entering the self-service portal, leave requests, vacations and absences are not loaded quickly, generating discomfort in the team. I would like your technical team to have more knowledge of the product and be able to better channel the requests when they are required.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Gusto works well for our food truck business with several part-time employees. Gusto is also set up for large businesses with many employees. As a small business owner, it's impossible to pay someone to pay your paycheck every week, but it's impossible to spend hours trying to do it yourself. Gusto makes it a seamless process from setup to filing the necessary taxes. Simply enter the number of hours each employee worked and hit submit.

What differentiates Gusto from other similar products?
My firm provides payroll services for local companies. I switched to Gusto from the other "market leader" in payroll processing after using it for many years. I was pleasantly delighted by Gusto's user-friendliness, efficiency, and helpful support staff. Furthermore, Gusto was cheaper than the alternatives we considered.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Small company owners typically do not have the resources to devote significant time and energy to researching, implementing, and managing a payroll system. Setup is a breeze with Gusto because of the thoroughness with which it probes for information and the precision with which it executes. Because of the intuitive design of the interface, even a sole proprietor may quickly and easily set up payroll to run automatically.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The calendar widget has several glitches. The price seemed a bit steep.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Large companies that can afford to provide their workforce with a well-designed, user-friendly software like Gusto would benefit much from doing so. It was a touch pricy, so it probably wouldn't be the best fit for tiny businesses with limited funds. Employees don't need to be particularly computer savvy to use it successfully. The mobile app's portability makes it a good fit for businesses that value employee convenience.
