An excellent tool for managing defects

What differentiates Helix ALM from other similar products?
Simple licensing and user addition; frequent updates to ensure everyone is on the most recent version; accessible text and field editing to better meet project requirements—one central location for testing, bugs, and needs. I could precisely record software specs using this program, which I then added to test cases and used for test runs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Stocking files is an excellent user tool since it retains the traceability on the server, puts it all on a single page, and lets other users access it even if the developer's system breaks or the developer leaves the firm. Additional test cases, specifications, and backing for the requirements' general flow are all addable. The dashboard has issues with love, but it looks fantastic and offers valuable information. They can help you discover the needed problem rather quickly.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Links may be presented to users in a more ordered manner. Despite many configuration options, the inability to store and share a view between users precisely for each document might improve usability. Test cases can be added to our company's document template because reports cannot be exported to Word.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
suitable for both IT and business professionals. The question of how to use it was posed. It was always responded to immediately. It is an excellent source control tool all around. Automation scripts also contain command-line utilities. It establishes ticketing procedures and requires ethical testing.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product

A matrix of traceability and a helix

What differentiates Helix ALM from other similar products?
We could understand how much work remained and how far we had progressed with the QA testing. The software does a fantastic job of connecting different data sets among the several modules we use. Additionally, it may be configured to work with various workflows because it is adaptable enough.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Filters, which our firm utilizes as frequently as possible, are the most crucial component. We are also happy with the needs section. Helix ALM may be configured practically any way you need it to be because of its extreme flexibility. It may be set up to automate various tasks and provides excellent customer service if you have any issues. Product organization is made simple via catalogs, and the application is flexible and enables substantial customization to suit our needs.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The dashboards we need cannot be made. We can only use the pre-defined widgets because there needs to be more of them. After that, you can build a report solely for each project you create. When a workstation on the server's network cannot be accessed, performing administrative tasks online can be difficult because not all features are available through the online interface.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Tool for testing and requirement engineering that is inexpensive and easy to use. Centralizing everything makes managing test cases and bugs easier. We were able to move around very quickly after that. Other components are straightforward and user-friendly. The search could be much enhanced. We recommended it. However, if you encounter any issues, you can contact the staff.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product

What differentiates Helix ALM from other similar products?
As a result, we were able to comprehend how much work still needed to be done and how far along we were with the QA testing. The software has good capabilities for connecting various pieces of data among the numerous modules we utilize. Additionally, it is flexible enough to be set up to work with multiple workflows.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The most important factor is Filters, which our organization uses as frequently as feasible. Additionally, we are delighted with the requirements part. Helix ALM is incredibly flexible and can be set up almost however you need it. It may be configured to automate various processes, offering first-rate customer service if you have any complaints. Catalogues make it simple to organize products, and the program is adaptable and allows for extensive customization to meet our needs.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We cannot produce the dashboards we require. There aren't enough widgets, so we're limited to using the pre-defined ones. You can only generate a report for each project you create after that. It is challenging to carry out administrative chores via the web when access to a workstation on the server's network is unavailable since not all functionalities are available using the online interface.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Inexpensive and simple to use testing and requirement engineering tool. It makes it simpler to manage test cases and defects by centralizing everything. We were able to start moving about reasonably soon. Other elements appear to be simple and user-friendly. However, the search might be significantly improved.
