What differentiates IFS Enterprise Resource Planning from other similar products?
I prefer IFS because it is well-structured and easy to use. The option to search for specific functions and queries saves time. I’ve had one source for transactions with accompanying supporting documentation since I started using the attachment capability. IFS enables me to grow my customer base into new markets and provide more services to more customers while incurring less overhead. IFS ERP includes extensive service and maintenance management tools, making it ideal for firms that rely heavily on asset, equipment, and field service operations management.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In most procedures, the product is extremely dependable and user-friendly. There are numerous customization choices available to customers, all of which are free of charge. It only takes a basic understanding of the program to modify it to the needs of my business. Interactive dashboards (called lobbies in IFS) are a wonderful approach to making end-users’ jobs easier by displaying the necessary information at the right time. Lobbies are also excellent for data discovery for CEOs and directors. IFS ERP provides multi-language and multi-currency capabilities for global corporations, allowing them to streamline operations across multiple locati
What do you dislike most about this product?
The customer service is mediocre. Consultants lack project management skills and the capacity to successfully integrate software. I’d want to have more options in expanding or decreasing the number of licenses at a reasonable cost.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
IFS ERP is well-known for its emphasis on specific industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, defense, construction, and field service management. This specialization enables customized solutions and better alignment with industry requirements. It offers a variety of modules that cover numerous parts of corporate operations, such as finance, supply chain, human resources, project management, customer relationship management (CRM), and others. IFS offers cloud-based ERP systems, which make deployment easier and reduce the stress of managing on-premise infrastructure.
