What differentiates Informatica Master Data Management from other similar products?

Using Informatica MDM, we were able to handle terabytes of data and able to perform multiple operation for ETL. It comes up with easy customization and configuration. Overall customer satisfaction was upto the mark and we were able to get quick resolution. It proved helpful to enhance our data driven transformation at much scalable rate and we were able to include all the business specific requirement.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has feature to view some of the organization specific data and it has multiple support for AI/ML. It also got relationship specific views which can help to integrate complex data into high quality data. Without Informatica MDM it was not possible to turn millions of data into specific business designs and help our business to grow.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Although it takes time to hands on the tool and learn as the tool is quite complex in configuration. It has also got an expensive Licensing model which causes Small-Size organization out of scope. Multiple new vendors are coming up which are offering multiple features in ETL space.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Its better to break specific requirement and then check what all features can Informatica MDM can perform differently. Also, if you are looking for ETL operation for multiple sources using BI tool then definitely you can go with Informatica.
