What differentiates Informatica Master Data Management from other similar products?

MDM is a proven master data management technology that leverages a platform approach. Unlike other MDM applications with fixed data models where you have to begin with one domain such as, customer or product, Informatica MDM is comparatively flexible

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The most valuable feature of Informatica MDM is hierarchy management. It's not something that's typically available and effective within ERPs.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Rest API Performance is not consistent- Hosted environment performance tuning- Support is lame sometime. The new workflow ActiveVos is not ready for use in large companies.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Strong MDM hub configurability. ETL, PowerCenter, Data Quality is strong and flexible.

It's GUI which is simple to use, and drag and drop features.

ETL transformations and data cleansing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

No dislikes of the tool now as it's rich look and feel of the application.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As it's from Informatica, as a standard, this tools has powerful GUI and easy to use features for both ETL, ELT data analytics.
