What differentiates Kantata from other similar products?

Single Dashboard to review all submitted, resubmitted and pending timesheets which makes weekly timesheet review a simple task. It is much better than the Tempo timesheets that I have used in the past.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Since we are a growing agency with multiple projects and hundreds of resources, it is easy to use Kantata for resource planning, allocation, and following that allocation during execution. We can aim for higher resource utilization with this.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing in particular but more filter and sorting options on the project page would have been more helpful as it takes a while to find what you are looking for in its current view.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Talk with their sales team right away, if you are a mid-size professional services agency, this might be a good fit for you.

What differentiates Kantata from other similar products?

In our previous software, we could only have one user login at a time to invoice. With Kantata, there is no limit to the amount of users invoicing at once. The software also updates in real time, so we don't have to wait for reports to update for over an hour before we can see changes made. There is also built in training resources available via the Guidance Center & Trailhead.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Kantata is how easy it is to customize items like reports. When I first started using the software, I was a little overwhelmed, but once you get a clear picture of the workflow process, it becomes very intuitive. The Einstein search feature is also extremely helpful and reduces the amount of clicks it takes to get to the data you are looking for.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have yet to find a way to change a PO rule for an engagement after it's been invoiced without crediting & rebilling every invoice. This means that if a customer stops requiring a PO for their invoices, we have to create a dummy PO and continue to allocate fake funds to proceed with invoicing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Utilize the free training available on Trailhead. You would be surprised how quickly you can become an expert on the product and streamline tasks you hadn't even considered automating before.
