What differentiates Kantata from other similar products?
Mavenlink assists me in keeping track of my projects' progress and expenditures. It's simple to use, and I really like the variety of reports I can generate with it. It's a nice application with a lot of reporting capacity, but the UI could be a lot better. It's a continuing process; there's still a world to uncover in Mavenlink, and we hope to get somewhere someday. In comparison, it has been one of the better tools available.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Mavenlink's channels of communication are very excellent and encourage collaboration. It's also fantastic how simple it is to export the reports. I especially like the way simple it is to measure time and how many possibilities you have as a user and the system. The system is simple to use, and there are plenty of reporting options. Our company is ecstatic to have switched to Mavenlink. The marketing and customer service teams have been fantastic.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are some disadvantages in mavenlink as when ee were left to our own devices to sort it out. The "integrations" that they offer through their integration tool are shoddy at best, and the tool itself is a disaster. It has a terrible user interface and is difficult to use appropriately. Consider a modular setup with basic functionalities that are condensed for the task at hand. There are a lot of different ways to achieve the same job, and there are typically a lot of features you're not aware of. It's scary for novice users, but it's not as straightforward as some other products, in my opinion.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Thus far in the, everything had gone well. Working had gone smoothly and according to plan. The API documentation and implementation are excellent. For the instrument to be effective, it must be integrated. However, if you get the hang of it, it's a great tool for resource monitoring and answerability.
