What differentiates Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) from other similar products?

In the complicated environment of technology, security of networks is not just a job or a function; it is a strategic, paramount mission. The technology executives know that each moment of vulnerability assessment is the chance to save the lives of patients and protect their records. The peace of mind that future network connections and every device are receiving a careful look is nothing short of amazing.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is a robust system that closely examines every aspect of technologically complex healthcare organizations; it is not just a tool. Absolutely incredible are the platform’s capabilities of scanning both generic IT facilities and unique medical instruments and devices, which allow for realizing both perspectives of operational risks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It added that although the platform is incredibly powerful, it can sometimes have issues with workloads that are highly individualized or even very old in the field of medicine. A few of those device arrangements may be unique in being necessary to scan with the help of basic input or to be scanned manually.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Think of having your own personal digital detective who silently investigates your whole network without them knowing with pinpoint precision where the weak spots are. This is because TTP is able to deliver a rich level of information, and very granular at that, in a package that can help technology leaders make very effective decisions on a constantly changing basis, transmuting the security nightmares into very workable challenges. Every scan seems like a thorough system examination for an organization’s technological framework.

What differentiates Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) from other similar products?

The difference is that with Cisco’s vulnerability management, these wide scanning capabilities include known and zero day vulnerabilities. The result is that it’s excellent software, because who doesn’t want data-driven threat priority instead of severity score.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Thus an automatic scanning schedule is generated to schedule scanning monitoring over the network with no manual participation. The alert system is customized to never miss an important security issue, and then the detailed reporting shows how you can meet many regulatory requirements.

What do you dislike most about this product?

But the software struggles with picking up some legacy systems and custom apps. It would be better to have a more customized way of creating reports in the reporting interface to better fit organizational needs. In the above example for asset discovery, sometimes the process misses some network devices.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We have found that integration with our existing security infrastructure has made it a perfect security monitoring system in terms of being a complete, seamless process that helps us stay peacefully at work.
