What differentiates Kubernetes (K8s) from other similar products?
Kubernetes is free. We use on AWS, with EKS, pay a good amount but no need to worry about control plane and hardware.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Reliability and monitoring
What do you dislike most about this product?
Documentation should have more practical examples.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Hire a good consultant and your product will be on the best solution. Kubernetes is fantastic!

What differentiates Kubernetes (K8s) from other similar products?
There are some other competitors to Kubernetes, even one created by the Docker's creator (Docker Swarm). But being developed by a giant like Google and being the oldest at the market, makes Kubernetes a reliable and highly adopted platform to containers orchestration.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
How Kubernetes takes the infrastructure management and resources usage to other level, giving us the ability to load our applications way faster and by using the available resources in a smart way.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The level of complexity on its usage. You really need to deep understand all concepts and nuances to be able to run something in production mode.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You need to invest enough time to learn how Kubernetes does its tasks to get a better results. Also, be close to your developers providing the needed information in order they can develop the application under a "Kubernetes perspective". This is perhaps the most valuable point you need to focus in.
